There are plenty of ways to make money by using Twitter as long as you know how to utilize Twitter for your own benefit. As long as there are avenues of communication like Twitter, any enterprising guy could use it to his own business advantage. But sometimes this is easier said than done. Thus, it is at least good to have an idea on how other people have gained business mileage with Twitter.
Your followers on Twitter can be very useful in promoting your business or any product, which you would like to sell. Consequently, you can expand your market by expanding the number of your Twitter followers.
Furthermore, you could also use Twitter in expanding your online presence by embedding your affiliate link in your tweet. Using some engaging Tweets, you could enjoin your followers to spread the word about your product and services. This is what had happened to Woot, a $164 million online retailer located in Carrollton, Texas. The company has six online shops that offer discounted products. Before using the Twitter, Woot’s shops were barely selling one item per day. Through some well positioned and properly timed tweets, they were able to double and even triple their sales.
Another way to gain mileage in your business using Twitter is by paid reviews. You can do some paid reviews just to bring around the news that your product is good and worth paying for. You could also do some paid reviews on other products and services.
Likewise, you could initiate sponsored contest on Twitters. I guess this is one of the best ways to promote your business on Twitter. A sponsored contest sometimes engenders a bandwagon attitude wherein people who are enjoined into a contest are also led to become customers or buyers later on. You can pique the interest of many people using sponsored contest and make them aware of the existence of your business.
In some ways, you just have to be creative and enterprising to draw the interest of potential clients and buyers using one of the best online social media-the Twitter.
